WVOL Attends WV Pumpkin Festival

West Virginia Operation Lifesaver volunteers recently spent four days at the West Virginia Pumpkin Festival in Milton. This is the second largest event WVOL attends during the year. Thousands were in attendance and according to WVOL State Coordinator John Perry, "There was also thousands of children at the festival. We folded and fitted 8,300 paper engineer hats in four days. That's more than we do at the State Fair."  Even with some bad weather thousands of people came to enjoy the shows, crafts and food offered at the festival. Perry added, "We make several contacts at this festival and this year it has been another tremendous success for WVOL.
